Being sick and at home - week 13
This week was no fun since we were all sick and I was extra worried for Arya and his cough and sleeping at night. Luckily there were no major issues and he is almost better now. I guess the only thing we can do is just take care of them and do our best to make the time pass by with fun and smiles. We have been practicing word games and other activites to keep him challenged. So far he likes to repeat when we say "Aghah" and he likes to immitate our lips. It's neat :) I wish I could record it when he does it but it's random.

So cute. He seems to be doing really well on his tummy and using his hands. It just keeps getting better and better! :)

Sadism, that is what that is, sadism. The poor child is put on such a high pillow (or whatever it is called) that he cannot possibly reach the toy no matter how much he tries. Thank you mother Marjan. As soon as he can understands language, I ought let him know that I will be his advocate. Thinking back to how Shirin worked with Cyrus, I now remember that she also did similar things to Cyrus, placing toys out of his reach then encouraged him to get them. It just might be a part of motherhood to torture their babies. I need to talk to Ali.
It will make him more capable, just as it did for Cyrus. Mother know what we are doing. It's tough love, but we have to keep you sappy men at bay so our children actually learn to do things for themselves.

That's so funny ...hahahah...I guess it is tough love...but then when I don't have the pillow he gets mad at me for making him suck the floor...so it's an unfortunate sadistic move on my part but for the best :)
