Happy 4rth of July 2015!

Thank You God for Freedom and letting us be in this country.



Thank You for allowing us to be peace loving people and able to live the way we do in this place despite the fact that there are a lot of people who are misinformed about our way of life and who we are.



We enjoyed celebrating this beautiful day in our own backyard with the family.



Our fire pit hosted the pretty fire to look at and roast marshmallows. We saw fireworks all around us.



Nana and Papa enjoyed it too. And successfully the Peppermint bug spray worked and repelled the mosquitos, thank God!



A long time since Tina and I took a picture together. How time flies...



Love it when Kami makes us laugh and is in a happy mood :)



Arya enjoys his first experience roasting marshmallows on his own...a bit scary but exciting at the same time.



And a chance to do some fireworks with Jamil. he really enjoyed it. Thankfully the smoke blew the other direction :) Mashallah!

Arya turns 7 !!!!

Mashallah...Arya reaches his 7th year.



My beautiful Arya. God bless you my son for the person that you are, for the love that you give every day, for the patience that you have and the wisdom you possess. God always guide you and give you peace, health and happiness azizam.



We celebrated Arya's birthday a few days earlier due to convenience and work etc...



He asked for me to make carrot cake for him and the family came over to celebrate after Iftar.



Arya got a lot of cute things for his birthday. Nana & Papa got him his own desk and markers, Jurrasic World for the 3DS, Kami & Tina got him Minecraft characters, a building set with marbles, and a few other things. And we got him the stuff here...

And for his real birthday we took him to the Galleria mall to play in the arcade and go for frozen yogurt. His buddy/friend met us there for more gifts and to celebrate :)

Thank you God for another year with these dear men in our life.

















As the years go by, all I can say is thank you God, thank you for every precious moment together...

Ramadan Kareem

The beautiful month of Ramadan has come to us once again...



God willing we will have the strength to complete it and by God's Grace learn and reflect on the gifts and blessings we are given. Praise God for all the wonderful things we have been able to understand and feed our souls with.

God give all the believers peace and guidance in their lives and keep them in His care.

Summer is here!

We started his vacation off by shopping for toys and fun stuff to do while mommy and daddy work :)




Got some Legos and with his goody bag I gave him after school was out, he got busy! :)




It's nice to see him home while I'm working and relaxing around with the cat and playing anything he wants to.




Arya made his bed all by himself for the first time when he woke up! What a big boy, mashallah!

School is out!

Arya has been counting the days for school to be out and it finally came!




The celebrations took place at Earl Legette and Awards were passed out. Arya was recognized for his involvement with Capture the Flag and Soccer! :) Yay I'm glad he ended up enjoying that sport in his school at least.




Arya's coach Mr. Jones was retiring as well as his kindergarten teach Mrs. Segerstrom and the principal Mrs. Miller.




And it looks like the school will be having a makeover when he returns in the fall.

Mother's Day 2015

My beautiful boy, Arya. I had tears in my eyes today. When I came to the cafeteria with all the other mothers and sat to wait for you, I had butterflies in my tummy. I was so excited to see what you did for me. And when I saw the plate that you made me with your creative hands, Mashallah, all I could think was thank you God. Thank you for this day and this moment with you. For me to be able to have time to get out of work and get the most amazing gift from you.
I love you my precious son. For all that you are, for all that you do and for always making me smile.
