4 Months

Today Arya is 4 months old. The newest things he's starting to do is blab really loud. It sort of sounds like a yell but it's mixed with a few other sounds. He is also very fond of putting anything in his mouth. Especially blankets or whatever he can grab that's close by. Along with the drool and extra napping, he's happy to be growing and doing more big boy stuff. Sitting is also something he likes to do. It's getting old for him to lay down all the time so he will easily sit with us and watch tv or sit on the couch and listen as we make fools of ourselves. :) Here are a few pics for this 18th week:

Bath Time

God Bless you mom & dad, for helping us with so many things. I just want you to know how much we appreciate you and your patience even when we are scared or worried for every little thing. Thank you again for helping us all the times we needed you.

For those of you who wanted to see Arya during bath time here are some photos. With my mom's help he was getting the best scrub and he needed it too! He's so cute when we give him a bath he looks at himself in the mirror and he's so fascinated with the water!

Anxious to crawl

Ok. I know it's way too early but for some reason when we put Arya on his tummy sometimes he moves his legs and arms so hard and pushes so much to get somewhere that he ends up getting so tired and frustrated that he makes himself cry. But it's so cute the way he does it. Both feet go up in the air and like superman he keeps them there and his arms are gripping whatever he's on so tight. The coordination is missing but the idea is there. You will move soon my sweet Arya...it will just take some time. Don't give up!

Here are a couple sample pics

This one however we were helping him a bit and he was so excited that he could move!

Who / what will they become?

16wks_10.15.08.4

When I look into Arya's eyes I often wonder what type of person he will be in the future, what his personality will be like, and how he will be with others.
I wonder if he will help me in the kitchen and fix the things around the house with his dad. So many questions fill my mind when I look at him, but then I tell myself it's ok...you are his mom. You can wonder...just don't go overboard. :)
What kills me the most are his deep stares. It's almost as if he's a grownup trying to tell me something. And for a second I feel as though we are communicating through telepathy. Then I come to my senses and realize he's still a baby.
Here is a fun site I found for baby personality test:

Sick sick and more sick

After a few years of escaping colds, it seems that this year the bugs keep coming for a visit! And unfortunately for me, no medicine :( But the bugs have been kind so far. This week Arya and I have stayed with my mom & dad due to Ali's Flu which was pretty severe. Although, Arya ended up getting the cold anyway..(not the flu) but a cold and I got it too. My dear mom almost did as well but she took care of it before it took the best of her, thank God. Now I am suffering with a sore throat and trying not to get worse. Nothing is better than Health. And I truly mean, nothing.

Here are a couple videos for your enjoyment pleasure taken by my mom's camera....

Let's Play!

This week has been a bit hectic because Ali has been sick and Arya is going through another one of his growth spurts so I have been doing marathon feeding as well as hardly sleeping. So I apologize if I do not have more pictures or videos for this week.

Thankfully we have a few toys that Arya is interested in and rotates from to keep himself busy. Although he is monitored, it is nice sometimes to have him keep busy so that I can get some food to eat or run to the ladies room. One thing I have learned is that organization is the key to having a baby. I have put him on a nap routine that works enough for me to clean, make dinner, and eat faster than a speeding bullet. And even though I am lucky if I get 2 of those, I will take it and use my time wisely!!!!!!!!!!

Here are a couple pics of him playing with his toys :)

Talking and kissing

These days we just can't get enough of Arya. We just want to kiss him and talk to him all the time. The cutest thing is sometimes I feel like he kisses me back when I put my face next to his he licks me :) heheheh it's the sweetest thing. Here is a video my mom took of us chatting in the morning.
