2013 and The Cold Winter

This winter seemed like it was the coldest and unfriendliest winter we have ever had here in Sacramento.
And, life has been rather busy so sorry it has been a while since I updated Arya's Blog.

Papa's Knee surgery has been a slow and painful journey, but with therapy and continuous movement, hopefully things will get better and better. Here are a couple picks of his progress when he was staying with us.



 


The events in Arya's life have been many but mostly in the house. But he has his own adventures. Gaming on the Wii and with Jamil.

Christmas December 2012

Another beautiful December has come and gone. 2012 will soon come to an end. But it was memorable.
As it is every year. We had lights outside and inside this time in our new home. And the same white tree as last year.



Arya is sitting next to the light up doggie and white tree that is hard to see. He got a Wii and some coloring stuff. A couple movies and superheros from us.



We had fun making sweets and laughing with these Santa hats :)



Mom and Dad had a chance to stay with us for a while and see how we live as well as  heal from the pain they had to endure. Mom's foot is finally getting better and Dad's knee has allowed him to walk more and more. Don't they look so great even as they are in pain? And slimmed down quite a lot.

We usually went to Kamran's house every year, but this time Christmas was at our house.

Arya also got a handheld Nintendo DS and games to go with it from Kami & Tina.





They played and played and played.



Then the guys wanted to try it out. It was funny watching them box. It made them really work out :) heheh



Then it was time for Kamran's 36th birthday celebration. It's really tomorrow but it was convenient to celebrate it today.

Thanksgiving 2012

This year we had some visitors at our house for early November.
It's so pretty when these wild turkeys open their feathers.

Makes me think of how every type of "thing" God has created, has some sort of beauty in it.

Here is a flock of them after they jumped over our fence.They can actually fly and move pretty fast.

Thanksgiving celebration this year was being thankful to be alive and ticking with those whom we love and in thought and memory for those whom are not with us.

Nana and Papa have been staying with us after Papa's knee replacement surgery and Nana's fracture accident. They are doing ok and on the road to recovery. It is nice having them with us for a while even though they want to do so much but cannot walk for a few weeks.

My beautiful cousin Anahita came to visit us. We miss her dearly all the time. So glad she came.

Kamran, Christina and Jamil were also with us. I didn't get a chance to get their photo though :(

We had Marie Calendar's Thanksgiving Dinner which was pretty good.

Ali was the only one we missed a lot. We were packed with dogs and he was taking care of all of them.

Halloween 2012

Once again this Halloween we are all sick. Mine came first and then Arya and now Ali. Arya did get to choose a costume and wear it. I had to hem it after we got it but he didn't take it off for 2 days. Glad he had fun.

Well I know it's been a really long time since I have posted anything, but we've been going through a long and crazy move and hopefully our last move in our life. So once everything is finally done, I will update this blog once more. A summary on us - We are all ok just extra tired with this whole process. Arya has been busy with things so he is not really feeling the move, just a transition to a new house. There's a lot to still be done as this house was a fixer so many things to fix...
