My little eater

This post is about Arya and his passion for eating. I think he got this one from me. Although Ali loves to eat too, I'm a big BIG eater in a little person's body. I love food - to cook it, smell it, decorate it, and eat it! And as much as I gained in my pregnancy I enjoyed every bite :) heheheh.

The picture above was taken after Ali bought us breakfast and woke up early for the first time! We were all so excited :)

17 Months

Arya's 17th month has begun with more fiestiness. He has been discovering more of his personality and the things around him. He especially likes to mimic his dad and observe our daily routines. A few more teeth are coming in and he has started to try and eat with a fork and spoon now! (I need to get videos of this).

Barney and Elmo are still his favorite characters. Although he is starting to come around to others in the sesame street world as well as Sprout now. I really wish I had more time to do things with him rather than have him watch tv but when I work sometimes I have no choice. The good thing is on weekends and sometimes during the week he visits with Nana & Papa and we go out and he gets to be more social. In 2010 there will be a lot more activities!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Went to Kami & Tina's house for Turkey day and Arya had a lot of fun. He played and ate so much and fell asleep around 7:45. We all ate a lot too. It was a great day. Hope everyone else had a good time with family and enjoyed every moment. And, God please help those with less to eat have a full plate at their table.

Autumn Days

After days of being locked in our house because of Arya being sick, we had to stay away from Ali for a while because it was his turn. Not sure why it's getting harder and harder to go out. And, all these pandemics are scaring everyone and especially those who have kids to go anywhere. Nonetheless we had a good time together and made the best out of it. Here are some of pics of the days passing by being stuck at home.

16 Months, Halloween & Pneumonia

Well it had been a crazy couple weeks. Arya got pneumonia and an ear infection and it was miserable as well as scary. He was coughing, wheezing and lethargic. He didn't eat, drink or do anything except want to sleep and he lost a few pounds. We were really worried and took him to the emergency room a few times but after they gave him breathing treatments, medicine, and when he finally started to eat little by little he got on the road to recovery. We had been stuck in the house for a while and finally got out to see the family for Halloween. I wasn't able to dress him up this year, but here are a few pictures.
