Went to Kami & Tina's house for Turkey day and Arya had a lot of fun. He played and ate so much and fell asleep around 7:45. We all ate a lot too. It was a great day. Hope everyone else had a good time with family and enjoyed every moment. And, God please help those with less to eat have a full plate at their table.
I have been getting lucky these past few days to catch Arya doing his funny stuff. After beating myself up for lagging on his videos, hopefully this will make up for it.
After days of being locked in our house because of Arya being sick, we had to stay away from Ali for a while because it was his turn. Not sure why it's getting harder and harder to go out. And, all these pandemics are scaring everyone and especially those who have kids to go anywhere. Nonetheless we had a good time together and made the best out of it. Here are some of pics of the days passing by being stuck at home.
Well it had been a crazy couple weeks. Arya got pneumonia and an ear infection and it was miserable as well as scary. He was coughing, wheezing and lethargic. He didn't eat, drink or do anything except want to sleep and he lost a few pounds. We were really worried and took him to the emergency room a few times but after they gave him breathing treatments, medicine, and when he finally started to eat little by little he got on the road to recovery. We had been stuck in the house for a while and finally got out to see the family for Halloween. I wasn't able to dress him up this year, but here are a few pictures.
The search is on for the Sleep Warrior who is someone who will help Arya sleep good through the night. As for the past month or so, it has been an adventure to get him to sleep all the way through. First with hives now with teething. Hopefully the waves will calm down and we can all get some shut-eye! Until then, my sweet little Arya is Mr. Restless.
Since Arya has been born we have had dogs and cats around him. He has always had a fascination for animals. Although he truly seems to love cats and dogs the most. Farm animals and birds are his second favorite. But mostly he seems to be interested in Sasha (our German Shepherd dog) and every day he likes to give her a treat or visit with her. She doesn't mind it at all and actually loves the company. The other day I caught Arya trying to do something really interesting. See this video below. I couldn't help but laugh :)

It's like I snap my fingers and another month has gone by. I can't believe how fast time is flying these days. I even posted the month to month's pictures side by side because I've been too busy to post them seperate so sorry about that.
At 15 months, Arya has been starting to show a lot more of his personality. Especially of his likes and dislikes. His demands and give-ins. There are a lot of little things that I can see in him that give clues to who he will be in the future. Although I feel as though the terrible twos will creep on us sooner than later. Sometimes he has melt downs. I guess with things that he likes very much and doesn't get...this is a problem. Mainly TV and what he wants to watch. His favorites these days are Elmo's world, Barney and Curious Buddies from Nick Jr. I think they all have some good qualities but I just don't know how to get him to peel away from the tv now that he's glued to it. I've been trying other avenues like pots and pans, tag, and hide and go seek which he likes a lot too. And more trips outside the house. Hopefully he will get tired of the tube! Here is a funny video we took of Arya. It's a long one though :)
