I love how well he went up those stairs! Cyrus and I watched his videos together and we were very impressed! :)
Why is it babies love stairs? Cyrus is the same way...just driven towards the top!

I remember when your Uncle Saeed and I came to visit your family shortly after we were married and moving to Seattle. Your mom and dad had been in the U.S. about six months or less. You were about four years old and already incorporating English words into your conversations. You would show me your coloring books and tell me the names of the colors in English with such a sweet little shy smile. Kamran was about one year old. He wasn't that interested in us but was running around the apartment on his (invisible) motorcycle going, "Rghrooom, rghrooom!" I think boys are just born making car sounds!
Arya is really blossoming in many ways; I am very impressed at how he seems to have made the amazingly complex perceptual deduction that his little plastic toy is the symbolic representation of a hugely larger car and therefore sounds and functions similarly to the real car. Unless he is imitating what he has seen an adult do with the toy car, he has made an amazingly large developmental jump. His climbing the stairs is so darn cute and delightful to see, obviously corroborates Darwin's theory of evolution: he (like Cyrus) climbs the stairs with such ease and so expertly without ever being taught. It all looks really remarkable and cute. He should get together with my other sweetheart, Cyrus, they will have a ball.
I love you guys. Wish you were here and we can all enjoy these boys together! Hopefully soon we can get them to play! That would be a real treat! *** BIG HUGS and KISSES ****
